Business Debt
Business debt is slightly different than personal debt. At DTS, we can only negotiate debts from credit card loans. Other types of loans, such as mortgages, car loans, certain student loans, and tax problems cannot be cleared using our program. In those cases, consolidation is probably your best option.
Business debt is not usually made through credit cards in the same way as personal debt. This depends entirely on the size of the business, however--smaller businesses may put many initial costs on credit cards. Often, though, business costs are often paid via other types of loans, such as a second mortgage or other type of mortgage plan.
Mixed Payment Plans
If your business incurred debts that were placed on a credit card, we are happy and eager to help you. We will negotiate with your creditors to significantly reduce the amount you owe so that your overall debt burden is reduced. After that point, you may also enter into a debt consolidation program if you owe additional money through a mortgage or small business loan.
Just as with personal debt, business debt can get quickly out of hand. This often happens to first-time business owners who had an inaccurate estimation of just how much capital would be needed to start the business. When this is the case, small purchases of office supplies and equipment will often be put on credit cards in the hopes that the business will pick up steam in the future.
